Lighting Automation Systems

Lighting is one of the largest items in a facility's electricity consumption, and in most buildings it stays on far longer than necessary. Lighting automation driven by occupancy sensors, daylight measurement and calendar schedules cuts consumption significantly without reducing comfort.

On infrastructure built around open protocols such as DALI and KNX, every luminaire can be addressed individually; scene scenarios per area, step dimming and astronomical time schedules for façade and landscape lighting are defined. Luminaire faults and consumption data are reported from a central monitoring screen.
